Prevent solids, silt and hydrocarbons from entering waterways via stormwater drains.

Trap is placed below the grate to prevent damage in high traffic areas.
Sediment trap is made from 200micron geotextile fabric.
Helps spill control compliance to avoid costly fines.
An oil/fuel absorbent pillow is inserted into the trap to collect hydrocarbons as they pass through. The pillow will absorb approximately 10 litres of oil.
Excess flow points avoid blockage during periods of high rainfall.
To install, place the drain warden into drain and cut off excess fabric leaving a healthy border. Excess fabric can also be folded over the grate.
Drain should be no larger than 1m square.
Drain warden should be checked for silt and debris after rain fall.
To replace the absorbent pillow, use Oil & Fuel Pillow 58 x 37cm (PPFO).

The excess fabric is being removed around the grate of the stormwater drain.

Cable ties can be used to secure the drain warden to the grate to prevent it from falling into the drain when grate is lifted.
